What model year should I buy? 06-08
Hey everyone, I'm looking to get a used f150 and wondering if I should look at 06+, 07+, or strictly 08's based on the issues ford addressed in each model year. I know on 10/09/07 they addressed the spark plug issue but couldn't that be negated by having the dealer change the plugs as part of the sale? 08 would be best, but is there any reason to avoid 06's, or 07's? Thanks so much!!

Not only does the re-designed heads on a newer motor 10/09/07 and above motor build date.. offer the new plug, there are up-dated VTC's and other stuff I cant remember right now.

Honestly, depends on the price you get it at. I wouldn't spend a whole lot more just to get an 08. You can do the plugs yourself, you just need the Lisle too and a LOT of patience. However, I am partial to 08's because I do have one lol

the question was... Based on the issues ! less issues with the re-designed heads.
