Default 09-13 f150 console in 04-08

I'm wondering if I can swap my jump seat out for a 09-13 center console w/o the center ****. Has anyone done this? Can't really find much on it.

Well, did the swap today. Had to drill holes to reuse the existing mounting spots, the rear part of the console needs extended bolts but the fronts work with the old rear bolts. For anybody that wants to know

Looks great! I been wanting to do this to get rid of the ugly jump seat. What did you pay for the console if you don't mind and where did you get it at?

It was a great upgrade! I got it for 300 with 60 shipping, off of ebay. Well worth the investment but you have to drill into it to get it mounted, which is no biggy to me. I definetly recommend it, but if you can get one from your year truck itll probably be a lot simpler

Any advantages from having the 09+ console vs the 04-08

Ehh, I would just say its got a little better material possibly, I went with it because it was available at a good time for me so I tried it and so far I'm loving it. Drill four holes and buy two longer bolts for the rear is fine with me. The plug in the back doesn't connect right up but I just spliced the wires, no problem to me.

How well do the greys match? I heard they aren't quite right, but that hard to tell in pictures...

The grey is different, its a lighter grey. No biggy to me since its around the base mostly
