Default What do you use to detail your truck?

Well I was at Autozone today to pick up a few things and figured its been a while since I washed my girl. So I picked up a turtle wax black box collection figuring I could use it later this afternoon. Anyone use this or something similar? What have you seen the best results out of. I also need a wheel cleaner(black) and a good interior leather cleaner.

My buddy is a chemist for Turtle Wax. Aside from the fact that its easy to use and works, he usually sets me up with free stuff

Have any of you guys tried that new DA polisher attachment from meguires? It attaches to your drill.
Its like 50 bucks and the pad kits with different compounds, polishes, and wax are only $11 a piece. I've been seriously considering picking one up.

Seems not very ergonomic. Also you will want a corded drill, battery op might get you thru one panel. I would just get a dedicated machine if you are wanting to polish your finish. Can get a decent machine for about double what that thing is. Probably the same cost factoring in the drill.

ETA - Was just looking thru my newest 5.0 Mustang magazine and the Harbor Freight coupon pages in it have a 6" random orbit/dual action polisher for 49.99... Not a bad deal IMO

I use meguiars ultimate compound, M205 compound. Than pre-wax polish. finish it off meguiars NXT wax. I apply the compounds and wax with a Porter cable DA. It does wonders. Removes swirls marks as well! Dont forget that microfiber towels are your friend. CLEAN towels that is!
