20k? The answer is in the question my man. Unless of course you love the truck. Upgrades and mods only add to private party value.

You made a good point about selling to a friend though. Its usually not a wise move.

Best case scenario, ever time you guys hang out, you will see the truck you used to drive.
I would hate that.

For 20k I'd sell it in a heart beat, with AS IS expressed clearly on the bill of sale... Don't sleep on it for too long, because this kid might come to his senses and realize he's overpaying by about 5k easy.. In all honesty, your truck looks great, but there are very few buyers looking for a truck like yours, statistically.

I haven't done many mods to my truck. Added some lights, a nice system, Gotts mod. The mods I want to do are for power, longtubes, efans, tuner - I wouldn't need any of those mods with a new 5.0.

If somebody offered me 20k for my truck, I'd sell it and put 15 down on a new truck, and use the other 5k to add a sub and buy a nice AR-15.

For 20k, I think your making the right decision.. I bought mine for $10k off craigslist with 109,000 miles on it a year and a half ago.. You could easily buy 2 trucks with that kind of money and a little patience....

I would sell it unless your just in love with the truck, 20k is way more than its worth. IMO
