Default what is the difference between a 4wd and 2wd front strut? 04 2wd f150 6" fabtech lift

Hello I'm having a great deal of trouble finding a bilstien front strut that fits my 2004 ford f150 2wd with a fabtech 6" lift. The issue I am running into is that the 4wd 6" front struts appear to be more compatable than the 2wd 6" struts. The 2wd struts all have a bracket at the bottom where two pins would mount it to the bottom of the frame. The 4wd struts have a place for a single bolt and nut which is what I need! My main question is there any harm in using a 4wd strut in the front if the lengths are the same? And if there is even a difference in the two aside from the bottom mounting styles? I can't find any offroad shops that can offer me an answer to that so any input would be great

Not sure what u mean by 2 pins, they bolt to the lca. I believe the artifacts are the same stock.
