What did you do to your 11th gen today?

Rotted out frame, both sides. Passenger side needed more metal but driver side was in worse shape in one area. So after a month of it being in the shop, it's been plate welded and it's stronger than the OEM frame ever thought of being now. Only way to fix the rot is to replace the sections because our generation of trucks' frames are all discontinued.

Looked out the window and thought to myself "tomorrow when the temp finally gets above freezing, I really need to wash it."
Edit: was able to get the 2 main winter cars washed today. 45* felt like a heat wave!

You all can file this under lessons learned. I put it in my laugh or cry file.
i have to load 1,000 lbs in the truck this week so I pulled off both rear wheels to inspect the disc and parking brakes. My first mistake was using a "C" clamp to compress the pads. While this worked to compress the brakes I also managed to crack the metal clip that holds the outer pad to the caliper, but only on the passenger side (lucky me!). The rotors were stamped "Bosch" and we're in good shape though the wear limits stamped in the casting were worn away. The parking brakes had plenty of lining left and looked pretty good but when I started cleaning the dust off I noticed they were separating from the metal backing. If I hadn't pushed them around I never would have noticed.

Black lugs and flush aluminum caps
I wasn't a huge fan of the caps that came with the Method NV's so I ordered some machined caps that look better but aren't really worth $200 IMO. I know its pricey to mill but I would have be fine having plastic caps. I bought these months ago but apparently Method is now selling flush caps on their website, just so you know. I also swapped chrome lug nuts for black. I like the overall look much better.
Does anyone think I should black the bolts out? Not sure if that would improve the looks or if the contrast works fine.
