Dropped off the 06 scab fx4 at the shop. Getting new tires (Goodyear Duratracs) and bilstein struts.

Well @Summers22 do you have a concession speech ready? It was a hard fought battle but I think you're going to come up short. Personally I think its going to be really tough to beat a 2016, $70k, fully modded truck. Kind of unfair for us broke fools. I'd love to have Scharft's truck but I wont probably ever be able to afford a truck of that caliber lol. I think us broke fools could use the parts/store credit more than someone who owns a fully modded 2016. Ok down off my soap box not trying to either.

Well I kind of agree.....I would like the rules to be 4 total each month consisting of the same gen truck. I mean I am just not sure how my 12k truck competes against a 60k truck. But in the end it still looks good and serves it's purpose for my needs. Honestly a concession speach isn't necessary, a congratulations will be given and thats about it. My truck is recognized and appreciated by many on this forum and thats good enough for me.

I'd say it competed pretty well but we do have a good group here in the 11th gen section and we back our own so that helps. I like the idea of having each gen compete only against each other and just rotate gens every month. That would make it a little more fair. Either way its a great friendly competition and I'm glad they do it. Big thanks to the sponsor!

In my opinion, that $60K truck can't compete against yours for a second. To each their own though, as the votes have proven.

That wooden bed floor is a fine piece of work and she's a nice truck and all, but, no disrespect intended, "fully modified" is a relative term. Your truck has subtle touches all over that only a truck enthusiast will notice. Just about anyone can tell a truck is higher than most trucks and has extra lights bolted on.

newer trucks will probably win most of the time.

if i get lucky enough to get in the running next month, i can see a couple of nice, newer contenders in there already.

its all good, i'm really happy with the recognition from other truck enthusiasts...
