What did you do to your 11th gen today?

I have LED tails which are the whole housing and everything. Cruise control would work very rarely, but would work sometimes which made me think it was something else. I hooked a trailer up and was doing some pulling and the cruise worked perfectly and 100% everything, and it made me realize it got the load from the trailer lights.
I would rather make my current lights work as they came with the truck, look great, and being a flare side, I havent come across any stock ones to buy.

Ahh I see, that makes it a little more difficult to diagnose but it sounds like you are on the right track. You will need to put a resistor in the line. I haven't done it so I cant tell you for sure which line but it would make sense that it is on the return line. The resistor will lower the returning load to the trucks computer and it will think the lights are working as they should. Sorry I cant tell you for sure how to do this but someone on here probably can.

Do you have a EP27 electronic flasher installed?

You can do what that video shows or like Summers mentioned the EP27 flasher is easier to install and you wont have to splice wiring. I think the flasher will also fix this problem but I'm not 100% sure.
