Ahh I see, that makes it a little more difficult to diagnose but it sounds like you are on the right track. You will need to put a resistor in the line. I haven't done it so I cant tell you for sure which line but it would make sense that it is on the return line. The resistor will lower the returning load to the trucks computer and it will think the lights are working as they should. Sorry I cant tell you for sure how to do this but someone on here probably can.

Not sure. My lights flash perfectly like stock... but these all came installed when I purchased it.

Found this video... for a tahoe, but I imagine same thing. Guess I need to find some load resistors.

You can do what that video shows or like Summers mentioned the EP27 flasher is easier to install and you wont have to splice wiring. I think the flasher will also fix this problem but I'm not 100% sure.

Pretty sure I have the flasher. Mine doesnt hyperflash. However, the flasher doesnt help the cruise read the brake circuit.
