I got a little loud when he told me "you are mixing terminology", then he proceeded to use the term "oil controllers". I said, "you mean VCT solenoids" and he said, "well whatever they are, you can change those easy without removing the valve covers". I told him, not on the 07 and 08's and he just said, "well I dont do those timing jobs". Thats when the shop owner came up and the mechanic left. I told him he needs to double check his mechanics ASE certification because when it comes to my motor, he is clueless. The shop owner simply said "thanks for coming in and checking with us". What a bunch of jokers.

Had to sand out a fingerprint and re-clearcoat one of the front flares.

Will install them tomorrow. They also still need to be buffed out...

Picked up a tailgate camera for the new radio setup. Went for the 520TVL resolution one because it seemed to be the best in the price range.

looks great! I was thinking about doing the pocket style myself but after seeing yours I'm starting to lean away from them.

Thanks, Will finish installing the fronts tomorrow.

My running boards have to go, they make contact with the front flares.

Carr Super Hoops hang lower anyway & would be more functional then my current Nerf bars.

One more teaser pic with the wheels and tires touched up

Have to paint those wheel wells now 😱

Heard the dreaded metal on metal sound from my read brakes. Looks like my left rear outboard pad is tired.

Thinking to bite the bullet and get front and rear Power Stop Z36 kit with drilled & slotted rotors and powder coated calipers & hardware.

Any feedback out there on Power Stop products and their Z36 pads in particular?
