I guess I could brag however from a hospital bed after hitting that deer on how good my truck looked rather then how functional a mod was!
I'm going for function, otherwise I wouldn't bother with any aux lights, especially not combo spot flood bars and additional flood bars.

ETA: I just don't like round aux lights on the front of a truck. That doesn't disparage them, I just don't like the "look" of them, regardless of the function. So instead, I'm adding functional LED bars to the front, which will combine the look I want AND the function I want.

I guess I don't get the whole quoted message above about function.

Use butyl in the channel, put the lens back on and then seal the existing gap between the lens and housing with black rtv. This is how I do mine and have done a few sets like this with no moisture issues.

Installed the iOBD2 sensor. Seems pretty accurate. Didn't mess with it much, just scrolled through some things.

This is just one screen....

I made a thing. It's an ugly thing, but it's a thing. I also ugly stitched it in place. I triple stitched it in place. It's not going anywhere until I want it to. Considering it only took two hours of my time to do it all by hand, it's not a waste. It's just my own ugly touch.

I made it too big at first, including the part for the shifter button. Second try, though, was perfectly sized.

Took a picture of it. Used it to haul some garbage to the street. Tearing down a 42ft 5th wheel camper to build a flat bed out of. Lots of cutting to do. The sunset was nice lol. Took the picture from the bed of my deuce and a half. Was using it to move a couple things around the yard.

Not bad, I think black stitching would look much better and would take the "ugly" out of that piece of work.
