Loosened the radiator and the condenser and had to hit them with the pressure washer.. About 10lbs of dirt came out of the radiator. All the dirt wouldn't allow air through. Causing my ac to barely work.. I was getting 450psi on the high pressure side.. Hopefully I'll be around 200psi now where it's supposed to be. Also hooked it up to the ac machine at work and pulled the old freon out and refilled it. Thinking maybe that was part of my ac issue.. Till I found he plugged up radiator. Also got a quote from the local exhaust shop. $150 to cut my muffler out, weld in a flow master 40 and a tip. Hopefully in the next couple weeks will have it done.

This lil upgrade. Need to add a 4 gauge from the alt to the battery terminal but I also need to change the battery terminal.

Freon does not go bad. No need to replace it. The dirt was certainly an issue (how did it get there?), along with the fact that the 2004 to 2008's have a reputation for poor A/C function at idle conditions, due to the fan not being able to draw enough cool air through the condenser/radiator during idle conditions.

What accessories are you running with that required the need for a 200 AMP alternator? I too was concerned that I might need to increase, as I run a Mark VIII e-fan setup, as well as 4 KC lights, and a 12V accessory lead to my camper trailer. After contacting a site that builds these high amp alternators, they told me the current 110 amp stock alternator can keep up just fine.
Makes sense, as Ford did not offer a high amp alternator for the 2004 to 2008 from the factory, even when the tow package was equipped.

Dirt must have been there from before I got it.

Ac doesn't work at all now. Yay. Get to tear into it at work and try to figure out why
