Are they the power/turn signal/heated mirrors? If so, was the wiring there?
Yes. The wires on my truck plugged straight into the mirrors. The power adjust, turn signal and puddle lamps all work! I haven't tried the heated function yet but I assume that will work too

I wonder if my XLT has the harness for it since I dont have any of those fancy creature features.
Minor setback since the ebay seller sent me a worthless pair of lights. Melted reflector lens on the right headlight, loose reflector on the left and 2 huge scratches on the left, none of which was in the auction description. Going to return them and just get a brand new pair. But some progress on the demon eyes and flying squirrel mod:
Success! I decided I had nothing to lose and decided to paint my shrouds myself in the color scheme I wanted. Almost lost hope until tonight. Very happy with the outcome!
Well got everything painted and when I went to reassemble, the solenoid had a hard time trying to cycle. So I slowly started removing paint to get it to work perfectly. Well is was a huge pain, so out came the paint stripper and I cleaned it all off. No demon eyes it looks like. On to the used lights I bought, the ebay seller is being a douche and said the lights I sent him pictures of with the melted reflector arent the lights he sold me, WTF!!!! So I filed a claim with ebay, we will see how this goes.
Second problem was I thought maybe I could open up my existing heads....no go. I guess I sealed them up pretty good with the black RTV, they aint coming open! So the project is on hold for a week or so. Sucks as I was trying to get them done before my trip new weekend.
The speeding thing was sort of my fault because it's my responsibility to recalibrate my speedometer, and that's what the ticket was for. But he also gave me a warning for riding in the left lane while not passing which is bull because I had just finished passing AND they were parked so close to the damn road that I felt like being in the left lane was a safe idea. Being raised in a law enforcement household, I was taught to always get over when an officer was parked on the highway. They were parked in between the entrance ramp and the rest of the toll road and I always move over a lane for those crazies that don't look and just get on the highway without looking for other cars. As soon as I passed the trooper and the entrance ramp, I got over and continued on my way. Then I looked in my mirror and saw the red and blue and pulled over.
I wish they would enforce that down here in North Carolina. Because I end up staying in the right two lanes passing everyone lol
