Okay thanks, I have read where to use 3 of the compressors per spring and to rent them from Autozone. I am close to pulling the trigger on a pair of Belltechs.

Yeah I opted against renting them due to safety and a piece of mine, as well as the distance to auto zone. Most rental tools I have come across are not well cared for. The process itself is easy to swap the struts.

I had a Borla ProXS muffler installed and it sounds incredible! I will have the exhaust tip installed in the next few days now that I found one I like.

Replaced the windshield washer sprayers. They had been clogged up for a while. Cleaned and oiled my K&N filter.

HOLY CRAP! THIS IS EFFING SICK!

How hard was the swap? I contemplated something similar. I like the flow through console. plus I can throw a safe in there.

found more bubbles around the rear wheelwells....hmm.

and filled up....14.5 mpg....better, still needs work. I clean maf and throttle body on a regular basis, truck is due for those, an oil change and desperate for a filter. air filter is pretty new. all makes a good difference, but anyone know any other areas that would cause poor mpg on these trucks?

judging by what others report, I'm struggling to maintain the mpg numbers others have no trouble getting with 11th gens, even 5.4 crew cabs (even one on big tires).

Lead and ethanol are going to be your 2 biggest enemies there. fueleconomy.gov SWEARS that when they changed mpg estimates on older vehicles and how they calculate it now is based on more aggressive driving but it's a lie its the 10% Corn Liqour that they are passing off as gasoline now. The corn liqour that takes more energy to produce than what it renders, that increases our dependency on foreign oil not only for irrigation and transportation of the corn but for the petroleum based fertilizer.

Going to pick up my lift kit today. I'm getting a really good deal on a Rough Country lift (not my favorite, but hey it'll work). I'm trying to look into 6" bilstein struts for it then when I can find them, all will be sent out for powder coat and my build will finally continue.

While I appreciate you effort, please take this as constructive criticism. There is 5 shades of grey all in the picture. If you would match up some down to 2 or so shades, it would look great. The exposed bracket would drive me crazy. You executed it nicely, the fit is great, but the finish needs a little more attention. Nice job though!
