Default What Did You Do To Your Truck Today?

Had to pull my front diff cover to take care of a leak that I caused when I changed the fluid this spring.

Put new to me rims and tires on, cleaned the throttle body and MAF. Got a spare tire and got it put under the truck. Bought this old girl as a wreck and have been working on it for a

while. About ready to go to paint

Default What Did You Do To Your Truck Today?

Took it out in the mud for the first time in a while today. I went through a hole that my buddy had rutted out with his lifted Chevy on 53's. I didn't make it lol. We broke my tow strap trying to get it out and ended up using my other buddies Quigley van to get it out. Awesome time though.

Took these out

Now my truck sits.

And done. 2" on front and 1.75" on the rear. Front was done with beltech lowering struts.

Next up sway bars and figure out how the **** I am going to TQ the lower strut mounts to 351ft pounds

I converted my 2005 F150 XLT to floor shift with this center console from a 2012 Raptor.

Well more like what I did the past three days haha. Just bought a used 05 FX4 so I'm doing all the standard things you would do with a "new" used truck... Started with plugs haha... Broke 4 used the lisle kit extract the broken plugs, cleaned all coils and boots... Runs like a top now though. I think the owner before me ran it 144k without ever touching the plugs. Change the oil ended up switching the gram filter to motorcraft.

Smart move^^ right there. To many people buy a used truck and mod the crap out of it instead of making it run like it should and take care of the inside before touching the outside. Nice job!

Like that stance! Did you swap the coil springs to the Belltech struts? If so how hard was it? Dont forget your alignment.

I did, the attempted suicide was a failure.

Used spring compressors. These claimed 3/4" coild spring which is not the case if you want to use the locks...

It was easy other than the m16 nut on the top of the strut, had to use an m7 and m16 wrench to get the nut off.

Yeah alignment and prob have them check the TQ on the lower strut mount.
