What color interior paint do I need?
I am wanting to paint an expy console to match my 06 f150 xlt interior. What color and brand can I get it in a rattle can? I would like to do the dark color if possible but I'm okay with the lighter. (I would search the site but I can't stay on long enough to find anything because of constant pop ups Getting past Google)

I'm pretty sure this is what you want: https://smile.amazon.com/ColorBond-3.../dp/B00G6IPQ6S
It's hard to tell from your pictures exactly which you need, though. So go through a couple of the Ford options on there.

Automotive paint store can provide any color, and color match
And put it in a rattle can. Cost is about 23 to $27.
And they carry SEM interior paints
Most people dont realize this
All paint gets matched to blend best. Color codes are just a starting point. Batch to batch variations and paint age make this necessary.
If you want it to match something inside bring a piece of trim inside for the paint guy to match and it will match exactly
. I wouldn't do it any other way.
Be prepared for issues if you're painting over any pre-painted parts with colorbond. Because of emissions requirements most interior paints from the factory are water based. If you spray a solvent-based on top of it it's may lift it and wrinkle. Sometimes people get away with it by making that first coat very very light so the solvent evaporate so quickly before it penetrates the underlying paint. Adhesion promoter is will do the same thing. To be safest using sem water-based interior paint works. Additional crosslinker can be added to the water base to increase Solvent or alcohol resistance after it polymerizes.
