The shop had the replace crossover hose and the intake and new gaskets, well they told me they washed off all of the coolant to see where it was leaking.. my guess is they got a coil or 2 wet. how do i check these? It seems to only miss after its been driven for 5 minutes or more and it doesnt usally do it idling

Sounds like they most likely got the coils wet (and if its causing it to run funny than the coil was likely breaking down anyhow to allow water to seep in). How I would test it is to start it up, and while it is running disconnect one coil at a time (listen and watch the rpm's also). If you hear a big change in how the engine runs or see the engine shaking when unplugging a coil....then that coil is likely good and making good connection. If you unplug one and it makes little to no difference ....then you likely found a bad coil or plug ( more likely a coil though being that they had just hosed the engine down). continue the process along all of your coils and that should tell you how many coils are effected and also help you pinpoint which ones need replaced.
