Default well this is the new truck

Well traded my 2010 350 with a 5.4 and a 6spd for this 2006 lariat. Love the truck so far. Going from an XL model to this is a real treat. Looking to some to it in the near future and was wondering about programmers and cai. My brother is plugging in his sct tonight so I'm sure I will hear about that but is the gotts comparable to a cai? Anyways excited to be able to use this forum, with the 350 I couldn't really ask anyone be they all had powerstrokes. By the way love all the pics, gives me a good idea on what I would like to do

Thanks guys! Ahh about the programmer and the cai I am looking to get power and cai. Here in south dakota I noticed the gass mileage is horrible. Here I get 12.5 with my old 5.4 and when I went home to michigan I would get 16-18. But the only problem I noticed on the new truck was the vent hose to the rear end was clogged. Cleaned that out and topped off the fluid.

Well edge, gryphon, or hypertech are all good programmers to go with and I have a volant cai but K&N is great too

Buy an Edge Evo tuner and do the GOTTS mod. The Edge will make a big difference to your power. The GOTTS mod is basically a low cost CAI.

Might I be the first to ask why you're going from a 2010 to an 06?

This. Best bang for your buck right here, Evo and Gotts make a very noticeable difference.

The 2010 was a standard cab with a lift and a 5.4. I recently just had my first child and the two captain chairs in the 1 ton weren't gonna cut it. Lol
