Default Welding a front bumper

Just bought a new front bumper for my 04 and figured out my frame is slightly bent on the front right passenger side. Tried using a come along to bend it back all morning but no luck. So i've come to my last resort of having the bumper welded on. Anybody done this before or know if it would actually work?

move had something similar happen to my old 99 150. I took the bumper off which was hammered. The brackets were bent to hell. I “fabricated” new brackets and stick welded them on. I marked down the sides of the frame where the factory brackets were and popped oval holes like how the stock brackets were to make adjustments side to side. The bumper should have the same type holes just vertical. Now that I’m a very seasoned fabricator and welder I could have done a lot better job at it. But the appearance of the bumper after I did that looked amazing. Hope this helps a little bud. Also I think i used 1/4” steel. You could go with 3/16”
