If the steering wheels is wobbling with 2 different set of tires it sounds like your problem is in the front end, a vibration in the rear of the truck is normally felt in your back-*** area. Your issue sounds like a worn front end part or maybe one of the rotors lost it's balancing weight, or a bearing adjustment issue. The easiest way to check for a out of round tire is at a very low speed in a big uncrowded parking lot, let go of the steering wheel, if something(rim/tire) is out of round the steering wheel should rock back and forth.

Where are the balancing weights on rotors? Never heard of them before.. Yeah i thought ball joints or bearings maybe even though theyre new but all seems tight for steering up front.. Ill try tht out tonight! Thank you, ill get back to you and tell you what happens.

They are welded in the cooling fins, a wobble describes a side to side vibration-more like a front end issue. Wish I could drive it for you toget a better idea of what you're feeling.

It seems to do it more when cold out, weird but drove to work started out real bad on the hwy then got better when truck warmed up and now thats its 30* C out on my way hone its the same as when it was warmed up on the way to work. Odd for a steering problem, i took a vid of it when it wasnt bad, very hard to see the shimmy but its there. Gonna try the parking lot idea at night when theyre empty. The video is as good as the shimmy gets, usually a lot worse varying from 1/4" to 1/2" back and forth and video is like 1/16".. Will upload shortly

Just a thaught in passing when you checked your front suspension did you look for loose or mising bolts that hold the steering box to the frame? also the frame its self is prone to cracking around the steering box mounting area. Have someone "saw" the steering wheel back and forth and look for movment of the box in relation to the frame.

No visible problems with the steering linkage area, gonna toghten every bolt upfront tonight. From rack n pinion mounts to a-armsand make sure all bolts to do with steering and suspension are good n tight up front. No easily visible frame problems either but a snall crack would be real hard to see so.
