Default weird issue after dead battery

hello to all.so my battery went dead after leaving the doors open to long while changing the stock speakers. I pulled the pos and neg cables and recharged the battery.now it starts with no problem, however there is no response when I push the gas pedal.the check engine light is on and there is also a wrench icon.I don't have a scanner so I can't pull the codes.any ideas would be greatly appreciatted.

Try turning your ignition on then with it on pull the ground cable off your battery for about a minute. After tightening your ground turn your ignition off then back on and start the truck. This will reset your PCM. Hope this helps!

Come fellas! No one else has ever had this issue? Should I go out and buy a lottery ticket? I have a guy here at church that is a service writer for the local Ford dealership, maybe he can shed some light...

Sounds like the TPS is having some issues. My truck did the same thing but it was after doing donuts. I had the Edge on my truck and was able to pull the code and it was TPS stuck wide open.
