First off congrats on the wedding. I'm going thru the planing/paying phase now. I was gonna say Rize 8inch lift but it looks like everyone else has you covered.

We ordered the BDS Basic System yesterday, with their "you break it we replace it" warranty just felt it was the nest route to go. Went with the 6 inch kit and no struts/shocks and gonna be staying with the 35's NITTOs I have now. Decided on regearing instead of going with bigger tires. Now hunting around for struts/shocks.

You'll be extremely happy once you re-gear. I just finished my gears last weekend, and was sick with myself that i didn't do it sooner. 4.56 and 35's is the ONLY way to go. The power is back as well as the mpg have improved.

Bigdawg, I'm running stock 3.73s, what gears are you running? Because I was thinking about regearing but was wondering if it was worth it. Would my gas milage improve much? Power? Cause with my lift and tires I'm getting 11-12 mpg

I'm running the factory 3.73s with limited slip and 35s. everybody i have talked to says regearing is very worth it. I just keep getting told different gearing ratios to go with... I have emailed Yukon Gears to get their professional advice on which ratio to go with. as soon as i get their response i'll copy it in this thread.

yeah. I keep getting told 4.56 and 4.88 too... I don't ever tow anything and I want more power and am willing to sacrifice a little of MPGs but I don't want to have extremely horrible MPGs either. I have an Edge CS, CAI and exhaust- i want to feel the power that i should be getting...

Did you notice a difference with the cai? And what are your edge settings?
