Both clips (brackets). They are available through a dealer. Just take one of the above pictures in and show em what you want.

How difficult was it to remove the clips? I'm afraid of pulling to hard and breaking something.

easy, just a plastic push tab, you won't break anything under than the plastic bracket

Man just my luck, the windshield broke taking the plastic bracket out. I popped the bracket out easily, but it has a plastic tong that goes under the windshield and as the bracket came out it broke the windshield.

Aw man that sucks. I've had this problem for a few years now. I've siliconed every spot I could and it still leaks. I have that bracket siliconed but maybe not completely. I am going to double check and silicone that bracket again.

I've been driving around with out the passenger kick panel for a few years now cause I got tired of removing it to dry up the channel and wires.

Hope everything goes well if you decide to replace the glass.

The other day I brought the truck to the dealer and asked them to fix the water leak and replace the windshield spacer bracket. I told them I know for a fact it is leaking from the spacer bracket, but also check to see if it is leaking from anywhere else. I even walked the guy out to the truck, pulled the spacer bracket out since it was loose and showed it to the guys face so he would know what part I was talking about. He said ok we'll take care of it.

Well I got a call and they said it was ready so today I picked the truck up. I still have the cowling off and am able to see the "NEW" spacer bracket is obviously loose and old looking. Infact it has a crack in the same spot as the old one. They didn't replace the spacer bracket at all or fix the water leak! At home I sprayed a garden hose on the windshield and the water puddles up on the floor exactly like before. They charged me $300 and told me it was fixed. F**** liars.

Called them back and they said oh well the spacer bracket isnt available unless you buy the whole cowling. OK so you told me it was fixed just thinking I wouldnt check it, charged me $300 for the repair and actually didnt do anything!?!!?!?

Needless to say first thing tomorrow morning I am heading to my bank and canceling their check.

So I could really use your guys help, is he also lying about the spacer bracket not being available unless I buy the whole cowing?

I'd report them to the BBB as well. Fraudulent charges for something that wasn't fixed is screwed up.

The a/c evaporator drain was the problem on mine. Condensate was running down the outside of the passenger firewall from the drain then back in near the floor filling the wiring channel.

Been chasing leaks on my 2008 FX4... popped the clip out described above and chipped the WS... no crack.. got lucky. You can get them thru Ford parts online... $20 ea! Drivers side doesn’t leak at the clip, but found leaks in the body seams, door stop, and door harness connector... much easier to pull the fender, clean out all the leaves, seal the seams, cables, wires, WS clips, door stop, and wire harness. I also found water leaking in from the body bolt that secures the fender to the cab... planning on using butal tape and flex seal...
