I know you really want a diesel and I know you want the power. If you are hoping for significantly better fuel economy than your gasser then don't lift it and put oversize tires on it. that will kill mpg's. just my $.02. I'd level it but some slightly bigger tires and level it. that's me. you do what you want man

Current 150. Its already leveled with 295/70-18s (34.5") so 35s wont be much worse. But im worried about rubbing and stuff. If i go with the spacers im worried the lugs nuts wont go through the wheel spacers cause the nuts are pretty big

the center caps should not be affected by the spacers at all but I would highly recommend saving up for new rims with a better backspacing I hate wheel spacers even the good ones, way too often they mess up I wouldn't put them on my tuck but that's just me.

You can get billet spacers on 3bay for under $150, thats for all 4 rims. I added spacers (1.5") to my rims to free up some space between the tire sidewall and my UCA (could not even slide my finger through).

I say get the 6" lift and order some spacers... so jealous as I'm lookin to get a lift soon... If I can find one for a good price. Hard to find used 6" lifts for 2wd though
