Default Vleds v3 triton 6k white/amber type 2 switchback

Found these online and interested in putting them on the truck to delete the orange in the headlight housing but still retains the amber color turn signals to stay legal.

Has anyone used or installed these lights?

You may have issue legally running these in some states. Look at your laws for quantity of forward facing "white" lights. Some states are 4, and when Hi Beams are on they alone are 4. This would be 5&6 not to mention Factory Fogs and Bambi Mod if you have them or after market lights. Also light intensity could be an issue as well. I can assure you if I'm doing DUI enforcement you are at least getting stopped and a warning for them as it is in my gray area where the LEO is left the discretion but in the end they could ticket and tow you for it depending on your state, record, other mods and last but not least attitude. Not saying dont do it just saying dont be surprised. Bad day for him or her may mean bad day for you.

Thanks for the information - I've never heard of such a law. I'm a concert promoter so I'm usually getting home around 330-400 in the morning (prime time for LE to pull over anyone for anything). Ill probably end up switching my fogs and headlamps to HID and replace the orange bulb to a led bulb to remove the orange reflection.

Huge difference - I wanted to nightshade my tails but wanted the lights to still stay visible. Looks good!

I have switchbacks from ddm tuning, they work great and were only 7.99 each. I'm not sure why all these companies sell them so expensive. They also sell one with double the leds for 15$ but mine are plenty bright.

I'm not sure if this vid will work..
