Default Vibration when braking

I've had some pretty noticeable pulsing when I brake, at almost all speeds. Feels as if I'm on rumble strips. My confusion is that I've checked my pads, had my rotors checked, and my tie rods seems to be fine and aren't loose. It was just aligned and it happened with my old highway tires as well as my new BFGs. Any thoughts to what could be the cause?

How were your rotors checked? All four wheels? Is the vibration from the whole truck or just brake pedal? Feel it in the steering wheel too and/ or the seat?

I had the dealer check my whole break system when I took it in to get my cats replaced, they said they couldn't find any issues. I can feel it in the steering wheel and even passengers can notice it. Kinda makes the steering wheel jerk side to side from vibrations

Big mystery, eh? Sounds like the classic symptoms of warped rotors to me...it's almost certainly a braking issue, as that is when it happens, right? Let us know what you find out.

A guy I work with had about the same problem and he thought it was his rotors but it still did it after replacing them and it turned out to be his abs module.

That's exactly what I told the dealer to check for, and they said they didn't find anything ( but of course they could have just SAID they checked I guess )

Sounds like the front rotors are warped. That's where I'd start is by checking them again.

But if you had unwanted ABS activation the vibration would come from a pulsating brake pedal.

There is no pulsing from the pedal, other than whats caused by the whole truck vibrating. I'm going to check the brakes again soon.

Does it seems to get worse the longer you drive it or the hotter the rotors get?
I have had some rotors run good on a dial indicator but once the get hot they expand and warp, then once they cool they return to their original state.

Keep that in mind.

It kinda sounds like something may be loose.. A wheel or caliper braket..
