Default Very Very Annoying

I just bought a 2007 Ford F-150 Supercrew 5.4 L 2wheel drive. I always wear my seat belt but when im going through college campus or parking lots i usually dont and the seat belt alarm constantly beeps and beeps and beeps. Is there any way to shut this thing off?

Thanks,

Steve

Ok here's what I do. I HATE HATE HATE wearing mine and I refuse to wear it anywhere I go so what I do is turn the truck on, shift it out of park, plug the seatbelt in for 1-2 seconds or more and unplug it. It won't give you anymore problems while the truck is on. I do that every time I drive the F150 anywhere and I don't have to keep listening to that annoying seatbelt chime.

The owner's manual tells you how to disable that alarm as well as the auto-lock feature, another stupid annoyance. First things I did before I drove it off the lot....

I saw that one coming....lol J/K

The main reason I don't wear mine is because my sister got thrown out of her Chevy Malibu a few years back after she flipped it twice and she had her seatbelt on and still got thrown from the vehicle. I mean if they're supposed to keep things like that from happening and they don't then why wear it.

its common frickin sense. if you were to get into a low speed collision and the bag doesnt go off, have fun splitting your jaw on the steering wheel. or getting to know the windshield.
