"Upstate" is everything besides NYC and Long Island... which makes it kind of a pointless phrase. I live in "upstate" NY, and PA is literally a 10 minute drive, while NYC is 4 hours.

I can see Canada from my house now that is upstate Haha...

To be fair I would call anything above Albany upstate but not Albany itself... Not even clifton park

I never understood the point of "Upstate." I guess it's to differentiate us from the NYC folk. I prefer "Northern, Central, Western, Southern Tier" etc. At least that way, everyone knows what you're talking about. A lot of people define "Upstate" differently. You're definitely Upstate though, no doubt about it haha.

Anyway, maybe something on topic?... No, I'm nowhere near Albany, sorry. =)

Wooo.

Last time I went to Scranton it took me 2 hours...

Or course, that was for warped tour... plenty of traffic.

Beside the fact that I drive the speed limit, I also don't know how to get around for ****. You would think after 25 years I would know how to get to Vestal from JC, but I don't.
