In my experience it is tough to get any support
for an existing system (shops seem to only want to sell new systems; and typically aren’t great at troubleshooting anyway). But f I were you I’d spend a little time and money and see if all you need is a new remote. Remote starts are pretty nice to have when they work properly. Good luck, reply back with what you find.
