didnt drop the pan, the the fluid is nice and clean though. How would the trans blow from a little mudding? i mean, we've got guys 5th wheeling and towing yachts with their 150s, what the hell's the problem with some offroading?

that would insinuate an electrical issue, which is what my fingers are crossed for. i wouldnt imagine a "water and electricity getting together" blowing my trans...

well water shorting out the solenoids in the trans doesn't blow it, however it might as well be because it requires a complete teardown...so might as well rebuild the entire thing while your at it, it would silly not to check it all over and replace everything

i guess you don't get it...but it's your truck, if the trans is out and apart, why not rebuild it? it's a no brainer to me..

^^x2 thats silly and idiotic to not replace parts that are worn why its tore down save you time and money in the long run
