Default Turn off tire pressure light

Searched and didn't find any answers.

My tpms light stays on and I would like to turn it off. I refuse to spend the money for new ones to be installed as I can check the pressure my self.

I have an sct tuner but couldn't figure out anyway to turn the light off.

Has anyone found a way?

I hope someone knows. Discount tire direct told me I need to run my Coopers at 29 psi front and 32 psi rear. When I do that and the temp is under 50 degrees, I get a low tire warning. If I set them all to 34 psi per the door sticker, no low tire pressure light. I may just take the cluster out and tape over the light.......

Cannot turn off. The right thing to do is spend the money on your $50,000 truck. Or cover the light with electrical tape.

Dealer can set to different levels, but the pressure you were told is too low.

The right thing to do isn't always the choice though. lol I'm glad you think my truck is worth $50k! Haha joking aside I know but can spend $400 on better mods elsewhere.

My truck cost $12K.....So do you know the proper psi for a 285/50/20 Cooper Discoverer on Ford factory wheels? Probably not, the factory door sticker is for a factory 275/55/20 on factory wheels. I dont need a low tire pressure light to tell me to check pressures.

I haven't tried this...found this thread from 2010...Seems if you disable the seat belt chime on an F350 it turns off the TPMS as well
might be worth a shot

My seat belt chimes are off and my tpms light remained on. I did open up my cluster and cover the light with electrical tape. 100% honest you cannot tell it ever happened. Just gotta be careful when doing it

I have long ago disabled the seatbelt chime in my '11 - F350 and the TPMS is alive and well. I can't imagine any way the end user could deactivate a federally mandated safety item. Not that I wouldn't do it in a heartbeat. I hate the thing. I even took it to the dealer and offered to pay to disable it, since its NOT required on vehicles over 10,000 lb. GVWR ( mine's 11,500). The service advisor said even they couldn't do it. He said they could drop the min. required pressure to 50 psi, but it didn't work. I have to maintain around 55 front and 70 rear or I get a warning.

Yeah, I am opening my cluster, probably tomorrow and covering the light. Problem solved. FWIW, my sealtbelt minder has been off for a year.
