Toggle switch on the tail and brake circut as well as an aftermarket set of yellow 35w fogs on seperate switch (less light diffusion onto surrounding surfaces)?? What?
- Black eagle talon, VHT nightshade spray on tail lenses, black Eclipse 17" wheels, 20% window tint, black surround HID projector headlights... God I was young and dumb.

My '05 is the same way as everybody else's here, Auto setting on far left or totally off on the next one to the right.

Pretty sure he means 'is there a way to turn off the daytime running lights'...
Yes, when you put the switch in the 'Off' position.. the lights are technically off... but the day time running lights stay on...
You will have to pull the fuse/relay or put in aftermarket switches.
Too bad the are unlike the older (early 90's) vehicles, where on some you could just pull the E-brake one click, and the running lights would go out...

05Super, Josh 34, and 04XLTSCab: you were right it was the DRL fuse drivers side under the hood. Thanks a million , now I can work lights out! I've been wanting to do this for about nine months.

Thanks for the tip guys, this helped alot.

Was able to pull the relay, and my daytime running lights turned out.

They're standard issue in canada, something about safety

Did you try to push the e-brake down one or 2 clicks?

I had an 02 Chevy that you could push the dome light button 3 times and it would turn everything off...

We have a drive-in here in south florida and I hate the people that come and cant turn off them damn DRL!!!!!!!!

That's funny.....I read this article years ago about this guy and his "Stealth ZX-11" setting a speed record for Cali to NY or something.
Anyway..
The guy had a dimmer switch tied into his tail light so when he was being chased he would slowly turn down the dimmer and it would give the cops the illusion of him pulling away, then he would pull over and let them go by. Just thought I would share this.
