OK so yet another exhaust question for ya'll, I want to put some turndowns on my 2008 5.4 and I was wonder if what you went with the flowmaster or magnaflow? I was thinking of going with the flowmaster series 10 dumped right after the axle. Please give me some input I want something that is deep but now stupid loud and I know since I want the dumped that I will end up with some cab drone I just hope it's so much that I won't be able to think.

One guy that I use to work with had a 10 series on his 06 5.4 si/do dumped before the axle. and it sounded mean, Almost like it didn't have a muffler, just a little bit quieter.

I have true dual cherrybomb extremes dumped on my 04 5.4 and it sounds really good, it just drones like no other at 65mph in these E. Texas hills lol

I have the 10 series muffler and i just bought turn down pipes to dump it right out of the muffler. I want to install them this week if u want to wait i can take a video for u

Yea man that would be great, I'm not looking to buy the exhaust right at the moment I just wanted some feed back on how it sounds.

Ok. I was just reading about turndowns and stuff and a lot of ppl say theres drone on the cab so ill also let u know how the drone is

That'll work I mean I know there is gonna be some drone cause the tips are stopping right behind the cab but also long it ain't terrible I can live with that I just don't want to get a headache just from riding in my truck.

I've got a cherry bomb extreme with a turn down right there, there's a little drone but nothin like a headache, I can still hear myself think

Just cut my exhaust today. First off good luck finding a good spot for exhaust hangers. But the exhaust is much louder. I love it! There is a little drone but nothing major. I took 2 videos. A cold start and one inside the truck with the front 2 windows open 3 inches

i have a borla xr-1 that is dumped very little to no drone. wont be as loud as a flow or mag but it fits my taste and i think no tailpipe looks good

mag or flow dumped i would go mag
