Installed K&N intake 77-2556KP and Flowmaster 50 series SUV Dual.

Glad you asked that cause I've been meaning to check into throttle body spacers myself.

get an actual tune. Particularly an Xcal2 from Troyer. But also, check with K&N to see if their intake will actually work with the intake. Some intake kits will not work with an intake spacer.

don get a spacer, the gains are minimal, and the 100 bucks would be better spent elsewhere.

Get the Xcal tuner. Definantly. Don't to the spacer. Get a larger throttle body instead.

I know what a throttle body spacer is, but does a spacer actually do anything? I been wondering about that.

The idea is to make the intake runner longer. Longer runners create more torque. So Supposedly this spacer will give a seat of the pants diffrence. Thing is with the truck so heavy you wont feel the minimal gains. On a 2200 lb ricer you would.

no. and i think you mean the dealership.....and no. Unless someone specializes in performance upgrades, at which point they will do either a full dyno tune with SCT software like what Team Ford in Atlanta does or will want you to purchase a tuner.

Default Throttle body spacer

I did the mods on my truck one at a time to see how each one helped. I feel the Airaid throttle body spacer was a waste. The combination of exhaust, TBS and modular intake tube with a K&N helped power a bit but did nothing for my mileage. I've been back and forth on a tuner but you guys have pretty well convinced me that would be a good move. At least I could correct my speedo with the oversize tires.
