Default Tuner/Programer?

I have a 2005 f-150 Lariat... I looking to buy a tuner/programer for my truck. I mainly want something that can give me a couple more mpg and a little more horsepower. I want something that is made for the truck and won't mess anything up!! Any ideas??

I have a SCT X3 #3015 for sale in the classifieds if interested and it would work on your truck. $265 shipped.

Could use either the canned SCT tunes or get a custom one from place like 5 Star Tuning. Custom tune will give you best bang for buck for your truck.

Much talked about topic. Do a search on tuners or read this link.

Look into PHP "power hungry performance". All the plug n play tuners will more than likely give you what your looking for.

I know SCT is known for Ford tuning so if you can get one of those i would jump on that.

Myself. I like my Hptuner yeah its expensive but you can tune so many more vehicles than just yours.

Just installed a diablosport predator for my 05 xl 4x4 ,4.6L . All I can say is wow. What a change. I love it. No more confused shifting going up hills, more power and picked up 2 mpg's. Check their site out .http://diablosport.com

I've got a diablosport trinity. I've been really happy with it. I'm thinking of selling it and trying out an SCT tuner, from what I've seen and heard SCT is the one to go with for a ford truck. Good thing about the trinity is that it works with a variety of different vehicles and you can update it for new models. No updates for the '11 models yet though.
