I'm finally gonna regear my truck with either 4.11s or 4.56 but can't find a shop in southern maryland thats trustworthy. I called many shops and they all told me to replace the entire axle housing with a remanufactured unit that has the gear ratio i want already installed. Does anybody know somebody in northern virginia or southern maryland that can install a ring and pinion gear without the horrible whine from a half@#$ job?

 

No good shops known in the DC area?

 

I would be willing to drive to Norther VA if someone knows a shop in that area....
