Default truck won't start PLEASE HELP!!

hey guys, i need help please! i have a 08 150 with a 4.6 and up until today I haven't had any problems with the truck since i bought it.I got off work today and got in my truck to crank it and NOTHING. the battery isn't dead there is no clicking or anything but when you turn the key foward it won't do anything at all.this is my only transportation so I need to track this and fix it ASAP. can anyone lead me to a probable cause? I did wiggle starter wires and such and everything seems tight. would corrosion on the connections cause this maybe at the starter? is there starter relay on these trucks?? please help. thanks

If there isn't a clicking, then you aren't getting power to your starter solenoid. Check you battery terminals. Clean them. Check to make sure your battery has enough juice left in it. Check your starter connections again to see if there's something you missed.

Have you tried jumping it? Have you checked with a voltmeter at the starter to see if power is getting that far?

haven't checked with a volt meter yet. i did try jumping it but the guys truck that helped wasn't much to talk about so maybe it didn't help having it hooked up. the terminals at the battery look good but I did find white corrosion on the power wire to the starter where it connects.

The battery can go bad with no warning. It happened to me in the Whataburger drive thru. Need to get it checked before anyone can offer any help.

Drop the spare tire and check your fpdm .. It's bolted to the crossmember.

From what he is saying it isn't even cranking, so that wouldn't be the issue.

Could it possibly be that it's not recognizing the chip in the key? Maybe try spare key.

I could be wrong about this but if the fpdm is not telling the fuel pump to turn on this can also cause a no cranking condition.
