Truck wont start after replacing broken spark plugs!
NEED Help or your advise!
Ford f-150 5.4 3v
I have replace all 6 spark plugs with no problem, but 2 (6 & 8 ) spark plugs broke. I have extracted the broken spark plugs with the lisle tool. First time removing broken spark plugs, lisle tool was very handy.!!
I have replace 6 & 8 with new spark plugs, I have put anit-seize on the plugs. Also put Dielectric on the coils.
After putting all the parts back together, I got into the truck. I turned the ignition, took a little while to turn on. The truck was on for about 30 seconds with not weird noise and it shut off. Tried to turn the ignition again, nothing. The truck will not start. The lights come on when you turn the ignition on, but it will not kick over.. checked all the coils again, they are all connected
Does anyone have any idea what it might be??

If the engine will not turn over at all, check your connections at the battery first. Engine not turning over has nothing to do with spark plugs and coils, they help it run and idle right but the engine will still crank and turn over with them all disconnected (wouldn't start but it would still crank).

where did you apply dielectric grease .. to the boots or springs ? dielectric grease is not conductive.. so .. if it's on the spring where it contacts the plug or COP it needs to come off. its used to coat the inside of the rubber boot at each end to prevent moisture intrusion.

Techrep-used the dielectric grease on the boot.
Summers22- the truck shut off on its own. it started up good with no weird noise, then it shut off on its own after 30 sec.
Turck still isn't starting, checked the battery, fuses, connections.
When I turned the ignition on lights turn on, tried to get a code reading but nothing.
Truck still will not turn on. ?????????????
Its Cranking but will not start..

Fuel spark air - which are you missing?
You didn't have any reason to disconnect the supply from the fuel rail, right? Do you heard your fuel pump prime when you turn the key from off to ign on?
Rechecked all COP plug connections, battery connection, ground straps?
