Default Truck wont start

I have a 2006 f150 5.4L xlt with 25,000 miles on it. Yesterday, I went to start it and when I turned the key nothing happened (the starter did not engage). All of the gauges came on as well as the radio. A message displayed saying "check gauges.” All the gauges were fine. I turned the key several more times with the same result. I put the truck in gear and took it out several times and then tried to start with the same result. I tried a spare key several times with no effect. After about the 50th time of turning the key out of nowhere the truck turned over and it started. After I got it home I shut the truck off and it started several more times with no issue. There is no corrosion on the battery. It is probably something electrical. Does anyone have any ideas?

Can you hear the fuel pump prime when you turn the key? If not, your fuel pump relay might bad or you might have a bad electrical connection at the pump. The pump itself could also be bad. Check the fuel pressure.
