Mine was rusted on so I busted it with channel locks. I got mine from amazon for $56. However I did mine before it took a crap, so if you can wait thats your cheapest route. Your local parts store should have it, or be able to get it in a day or two. Probably charge $100+

Its actually a little cheaper now....

It might but I can imagine that your key wont fit in it again afterwards.

It will work, the lock is likely rusted.. You can bend the tab on the lock from under the truck and get it to turn if you get desperate.. Otherwise, PB blaster, and a good back and forth work out with channel lock pliers, biting on the back side of the lock (from under the truck) will get it working again..

There should be a fitment guide at the top of the screen, But its the same one I got. Mine is an '05. Should be the same on 04-08

Looks pretty bad, Be sure to use the rubber bushings that come with the new one to stand it off the rail.

I replaced my FPDM a few months ago then 2 weeks ago my truck didnt start, sounded like it wanted to start but wouldn't turn over, then after 5 mins it started.

On Monday and Tuesday of this week, the same situation happend, would not start at all but I heard the clicking from the starter and all the lights on the dash were on. Battery was fully charged so I suspected the fuel pump. I had to bang on the fuel tank then it started, try kicking the fuel tank a couple of times, it will start. So, got the fuel pumped replaced yesterday...$690. Starts just fine now.
