Default 4x4 drive not working?

I have an 06 super crew with 4x4 drive. It's been running well, but we had a snow storm this week and I got stuck. I noticed that the front wheels were not turning when the rear wheels were spinning in both 4hi and low. I would appreciate anyone's thoughts so I know what I am getting into before I take it to a shop.

Check 4x4 solenoid behind your battery on the firewall. Check vac lines for leaks and blockages and ensure they're connected to your IWE's at both front wheels. Check IWE's for functionality - tonnes of info on here about that. Check transfer case linkages and solenoid.

IWE solenoid not venting...or T-case stuck...I would replace the solenoid first and then go from there...you can try tapping on the T-case...see if thats does anything.
