Default truck not starting fpdm? need opinion plz

Attempts to turn over so battery and starter are good. It actually kind of takes the key out of my hand as I turn it, attempts to fire for about 10 seconds and then releases the key. 2007 fx4 85k assuming fpdm but wanted some opinions before I bought as im stuck at work and would like to fix on the fly in the parking lot if possible.

Thank you in advance

Are you getting any codes? Post a pic of your fpdm too. If the case is on there and still in tact it may be okay. It's when the front of that module comes off and condensation and other crud gets in there is when you have the problems.

P1233 is the fuel pump driver module fault code I believe

^^ yep back. Thanks for the correction. Either way it will be pretty obvious if it's corroded out!

Still on the clock so havent had time to drop the spare and remove the bugger to inspect. Was fine on the way in this morning and now no start seeming like lack of fuel based on first instinct without the time to get into it.

No code reader on me so cant confirm or deny code atm

Check to see if your fuel pressure sensor is leaking on the fuel rail mine was from a bad O ring and it wouldn't stay running

Everything looked fine for a quick visual inspection. No fuel smells etc... im thinking filter / fpdm or pump. Code reader enroute from the wifey.

What about checking the fuel pump reset.
I'm assuming it's still located at the passenger kick panel.
It's been such a long time since I had to reset one I don't know if Ford moved it somewhere else.

P1235 Fuel pump driver circuit out of range.

Got it home last night and we are repeating issue today. At least I have a code now. Going to buy the fpdm on break.
