Well, after a few tries at different diagnosis's, I finally was at a last ditch effort and went to a transmission shop.. They were saying it was the torque converter and they wanted to rebuild my transmission.

That may be true but many a trans shop has mistaken a miss for a trans issue.
You NEED live data to see if a miss is occurring. This will tell you definitively. No guess work. As I noted at the start of this, it is a crap shoot otherwise.
You need to find a trusted shop that is well known for the strong diagnostic skills before you let someone take your transmission apart.

Final Fix...
Well after taking it to a transmission shop and having the torque converter be diagnosed as the problem causer, the transmission was rebuilt.. $2100 for a new tranny basically. Fixed everything and honestly much smoother shifting through gears that i never even realized. Hopefully this is the last of my issues for a while. thank you everyone for the help

I have a 2007 f150 5.4l. I found, after a lot of resear funkedch, that the plugs and coil packs are a problem with the Eco boost system. You must use the motor craft plugs. They are an absolute bitch to get out. Places have been known to use an impact wrench to get them out; which strips them.
The reason the plugs have the problem is because the Eco boost kicks in at around 1200 RPMs, it builds up carbon around the plugs (the caked on carbon makes it difficult to remove them), the coil packs get gunked up, and starts misfiring when you hit any kind of incline between 40-50mph.
Change the plugs and the coil packs, carefully. I did it myself after having the dealership do it because the dealership cracked 2 of them when they put them back in. I cleaned out the spark plug seats to get rid of the rest of the carbon and any pieces left from the last broken plugs. It worked like a charm.
I would also recommend changing the plugs at about 75,000 miles rather than waiting until the 100,000 mile mark or you'll end up with the same carbon build up before. Cleaning the area around the plugs is imperative.
I've got 126,000 miles on my truck btw.
Hope this helps you.

2006 ford f150
Hey everyone.. hopefully someone will be of help to me because the dealership has been absolutely none, all theyve done is take my money. A few weeks back I noticed that my truck was beginning to jerk when i am driving at a steady 45-50mph and I accelerate. Took it to the dealer and they said spark plug in cylinder 8 but i had just gotten them replaced around 14k miles ago so they said ignition coil. they replaced it along with fuel and air filters, problem not fixed after $450 dollars. took it back today and they hooked it up to a scanner and drove it, said it was loose spark plug in cylinder 1 and bad coil in 5 and 1...$350 dollars later, drive it off the lot and test it, what do ya know not fixed. Im done with the bills and I'm doing it myself like i should have. anybody have ideas on how i should go about this? Im pretty positive its coils and possibly spark plugs.
sorry for the long post, very frustrated as of right now
