I had BB guns and real guns as a kid. I was not monitored when using the gun, but I had to basically check it out of the house. I was also schooled well on handling guns. I was fortunate to live in the country as a kid, but we were on a somewhat busy road and there were times when I was not allowed to use the gun as a precaution to others.

As for the damage...I have a cheap Air BB/Pellet rifle now that my dad purchased me many years ago. I'll take it out once in a while with the 22s and do some target practice. It's scary what that Air Gun will do with a pellet loaded in it.

Glad to hear no one was hurt and the damage is being taken care of. At least you came across a responsble parent (seems to be more and more rare these days).

Edit: Retracting responsible parent...Inserting parent willing to take resposibility after the fact.

heh, That's more like CO2 pressurized.

You are right in every way calling the cops regardless if you knew he did it before or after. I would have done the same except the cops would have been for his protection.

This got me thinking. I shot a car riding down the road one time with my paint ball gun. It was an accident of course. I thought all the nitrogen was released from the gun. Needless to say, I was wrong. It popped a car passing by like 3 times! The dude never stopped!!!! We were all standing there like, OH S**T! We even waited around for like 15 minutes thinking he was gonna come back with the law. He never did! I still wonder what he thought when he finally saw the yellow paint all over the drivers side?!?!?!
