So were to begin... I'm about ready to give up on ford. Ok I've put 8 new plugs and cop's, 2 new upstream o2 sensors, new fuel filter and 2 injectors on #5 & #6 cylinder still hasn't helped problem. Could Pcm have gone bad? Any suggestions?

Techrep do you believe that's what it is? Even for mis to be constant.? Could the fpdm shut down an injector and cop? If truck is runnin and I unplug #5 cop and injector it doesn't make a difference. It's like its not gettin fuel to that cylinder. Thanks for all the help.

Have you closely inspected the wiring connectors them selves to those cylinders? Check the COP and FI connector, looking for any loose, or broken wires.
If I suspect a COP, I always swap it with another to see if the code moves to that cylinder. Just a tip to anyone that sees this thread in a future search.
The FPDM could be suspect, but I'd think all FI's would be reporting a problem (i.e. low fuel pressure). It's a possibility though, but expensive to toss yet another part at the fault. You've done plenty of that already!
Check the wiring connectors; that at least is free.

Thanks bucko. I will check them closely today. And yes forked out to much $ so far and nothin have worked. I bought 8 cops from AutoZone, and had someone tell me there cops are crap. So then I went and bought 8 OEM cops that's 16 cop's and none of it helped. Next it's goin to ford. Was just hoping it would be something I could fix.

If the Fuel Pump Driver Module is AFU it will not send the proper gas to your injectors...and some may be more picky than others as far as were the codes are poping...un-bolt it and inspect it...see if the back side is corroded to where it is exposed...very common problem...will cause mis-fires...but so can a clogged cat...let us know what you find. Good luck Buddy

every figure this out? Have you checked number 4 plug? I had this same problem at work, and could not figure it out. Ended up pulling all the plugs back out, and checked them, and noticed number 4 was broke, but it was throwing a p0355 code. So maybe double check your work. but im interested to see the fix for this.
