Don't be that guy...UHaul has tandems for less than 30 bucks a day. You are over capacity if you carry on the bed and run the risk of hurting the truck, yourself, and those around you.

Well I went to home depot, they only had a tiny trailer. There is no U-Haul near me. So i went ahead and did it. Call me what ever you want, but the truck handled it great. No bottoming of suspension, no squeaks or rubs, the temp. stayed as it always has, and I had the A/C on. The tranny didn't whine or anything. Maybe because it has that tranny cooler with the towing package. I drove it 12 miles, very easy around turns and slow stops and acceleration. Not bad for 2000 lbs. Driveway is on an angle so it makes it look lower then it was.

That looks crazy. Glad you didn't have any issues. That rear had to have been riding on the bump stops. Did you look under and see?

I had about a half inch to a inch. Thats why I went slow. Never felt it bottom, but there were no bumps in the road. Until my community gate. There's a speed bump there, but I took it very slow and it was fine. While on southern blvd I was behind a cement truck, I was doing 40-45 mph that was the fastest I attempted to do with the weight. LOL I must say I am very pleased with this 4.6L . Its got some guts, didn't seem to mind one bit that it was hauling this load.

How dare you to actually use your pick up for what it was intended to do. What were you thinking?!!

Seeing all that sod reminded me of a few weeks ago.
We were down in Florida visiting. We stayed at a friends house in Jensen Beach. Wild boars tore the crap out of a few lawns in their neighborhood. It's amazing the destruction they can do to a lawn. The people would probably need about 5 of those pallets you have to repair their yards.
