Default Transmission temperature gauge help

I'm installing a temp gauge where the coin holder would be to the left of the radio. My question is, where should I tap into for the switched power for the gauge and where should I tap into for the gauge light bulb?

There's an accessory fuse in your panel that most people tap, 22 I think. You'll have to buy a fuse tap from a parts store ($5-10) bucks. For the light bulb, I just ran mine off of the hot wire going to the gauge and grounded it the same. If you want it to dim with the rest of the dash lights, I'd imagine you could hook it into the dimmer wire going through your radio harness. Should be right there in the area.
