My 2007 Ford F150 Fx2 sport has recently been having the transmission slip whenever i take off from a dead start. I was wondering if this is normal or if there was anything i could do to fix this problem

No transmission slip is definitly not normal. It will continue to get worse untill it completly goes out. It needs to be rebuilt or replaced

how do you know it's not misfiring? They can feel the same.

i guess i dont know if its misfiring or not, but if i take off slow enough i wont feel it. But this is serious enough that i should take it into the shop to have it looked at?

sounds like what mine is doing 2008 f-150 lariat 5.4,.. but my just dogged out on me yesterday, runs bad and check engine light came on..." what do mean u cant get 140k on original plugs" yes i did...
change ur plugs dude it may save u 5k on a tranny....make sure you read the posts on here about plug changes before you attempt.

My 05 FX4 started slipping and within 2 hours of driving i lost everything, dropped all the gears into the pan, now im with out a truck for a month.
