Default Adding a Keypad

I have an 06 superduty and wanted to know if it is possible to add the keyless entry pad on the door handle. I had an 05 expedition that had it and I really liked it. I have no idea if it's possible just was wondering if anyone has done it.

Might want to throw this in the Super Duty forum section for a better answer. I just added the keypad to my XLT SCrew F150 and it was plug and play. Just unhooked my old one, connected up the new, and TA DAAA! Again, not sure about SD's. But maybe Ford did them all that way. Good Luck!

As long as you have keyless, you can add the accessory version of the keypad, which acts like another keyless remote. Should be much easier than wiring one in.

Here's the first one I could find on a search:
http://www.troyfordaccessories.com/F...626-ba-all.htm

I believe they have the accessory version that is built into the handle backing like stock, though.

Yes, my 06 XLT SCrew didn't have it. I had always wondered if I could hook it up, since in my manual I had the card with the 5 digit code. Sure enough, just as simple as plug and play. I was so glad because the other one, accessory version, looked and obtuse looking. detracted from the smooth body lines IMO.

Ill have to look in my owners manual to see if I have that card. I suppose I'll look at some local salvage yards.

The code is also on the keyless module, behind the drivers side rear seatback

Bought a whole set, 5, from a guy here on the Forum. $55 including shipping. I know, STEAL! tascaparts seem to be the cheapest.
