Default Transmission help 4r75w - 4375e

Please tell me a 4375w will work in my 07 5.4 f150 that has 4r75e i heard it does.

All I can tell you is I have successfully installed a 2008 f150 transmission, which should have been the 4R75e into a 2004 F150 truck, that originally should have had a 4R75w. They look virtually identical. I studied them close and didn't see any difference. All the plugs were the same.
The only thing is I didn't physically see the 08 it came out of. I took the guys word that it was out of a 2008

That makes me feel better i just purchased a used remand 4r75w
From a wrecked truck and the guy said it will work on my truck even tho it has 4r75e so i hope this is true.

Believe me I was worried. I took a chance too. Are you installing it yourself?

I think the only difference is the electronic speed sensor on the E.
