trans shifts in and out of OD(sometimes even when OD cancelled)
used search function - nothing like this came up!
2007 screw fx2 5.4l 3:55 gears
driving over 30 through 75mph will randomly shift from od to 3rd and back again. will do this over and over once it starts. More pressure on the accel will stop it/ less(or no) and it will keep on.
Hit od cancel and at approx 40 mph trans will attempt to shift into od then back out.
I have been watching the turbine speed sensor and its not the converter locking up/unlocking.
also will slip into neutral as I accelerate away from a dead stop then bang into 1st.
before we blame the transmission note that if I manually hold 1st gear no slip/ no bang! manually shift 2nd and hold ok, manually shift 3rd(od cancelled) will attempt shift to od but pops back the 3rd, release od lock and carefully modulate pedal I can keep it from the back and forth shifting.
codes in computer P1000, U1950, B1352, U2023, U1900 NO ch eng light
acts like a confused ECU
